GOLF COURSE SPRAY TECH

Job Brief

Under the supervision of the superintendent, the golf course spray technician will be responsible for assisting in the overall maintenance of the golf course. They will  help diagnose diseases and treat insects that affect areas of the course. 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Operates  mowers, sprayers, spreaders, and all other golf course related machinery.

  • Calibrates sprayers and spreaders to ensure accurate application rates.

  • Stays in compliance with all county, state, and federal regulations for mixing chemicals and all safety aspects.

  • Performs all chemical and fertilizer applications to all areas of the course.

Requirements

  • 2 year’s experience on a golf course maintenance team

  • Ability to follow written and oral directions and interpret product labels 

  • Attains a PA Pesticide License within 60 days

  • Be able to lift heavy boxes/bags on a daily basis

Hourly Rate : $17-19 hour based on experience     Job Type: Seasonal

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE 

Position can include mowing greens, tees and fairways, weed whacking, maintaining irrigation system, raking sand traps and keeping the golf course looking its best.  

Hourly Rate : $11.00 - $15.00 based on experience

BARTENDER

Job Brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent dining experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly rate and tips. 

  • Experience as a bartender

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

  • RAMP training certificate

DISHWASHER 

Position includes washing the daily dishes, pots and pans. Cleaning the kitchen at the end of the shift and helping the chef and kitchen staff when needed. Hours are Monday, Thursday  and Sunday  2pm to 9pm

Hourly Rate : $11 - $13 hour based on experience

GOLF SHOP  

Position includes checking in golfers,  working with the retail aspect of the business, running credit cards, answering the phone, taking tee times and answering questions.

Hourly Rate : $10- $15  an hour based on experience

THE HUB

Position includes preparing coffee drinks, sandwiches, ice cream and working  the retail  operation for breakfast,  lunch and dinner, and keeping the operation clean and organized.  

Hourly Rate : $10 - $12 plus tips

SERVERS

Position includes offering daily menu specials, taking and delivering lunch and dinner orders, restaurant side work, working as a team and giving quality dining service.

LINE PREP COOK 

This job can have flexible days and hours - Sunset Green Restaurant and Bar is located at Split Rock County Club and we are looking for an experienced line cook, that can assist the chef with prep to running the kitchen in the absence of the chef. Must be able to prepare entrees, soups, salads, and follow established recipes. Someone who can maintain a clean work area and follow all safety sanitation rules and practices. Family run business, with excellent food and reputation. Great staff members and nice work atmosphere. A commitment to creative delicious food and a love of cooking. Open for lunch and dinner Thursday to Monday, 11am to 9pm.

Hourly Rate : $15- $18  an hour based on experience

GOLF COURSE STARTER  

Position includes getting carts for golfers, explaining the course, driving range keeping pace of play, cleaning carts,  and putting the carts away at night.

Hourly Rate : $8 - $11 plus tips

SNACK SHOP/BEVERAGE CART 

Position includes prepping the snack shop area for breakfast and lunch, preparing breakfast and lunch items for golfers, serving canned and bottled beverages and keeping the lower level of the Golf Club clean and organized.  

Hourly Rate : $8 - $9 plus tips
