Combine the elements of soccer and golf and you have FOOTGOLF, and it will open in April at Split Rock Golf Club.

 

To play, Athletes use soccer balls on a traditional golf course with 21-inch diameter cups.The rules correspond to the rules of golf and is played in teams of 4 with the same etiquette.Split Rock's Foot Golf Course has 18 holes built within the 9 Hole South Course which allows both traditional golf and FootGolf to be played simultaneously.

FootGolf uses golf’s basic model including tee boxes, greens, bunkers, hazards and 18 holes of play. Scorecards display par scores for each hole as in regular golf. The sport is governed by the Federation for International FootGolf and is wildly popular in Europe & South America with increasing numbers nationally.

We’re excited to have Footgolf at Split Rock, it’s a perfect for the family oriented resort. Our 18-hole FootGolf course is incorporated into our South Course which still leaves 18 holes of golf on the North Course.
